Washington, D.C. – Today, U.S. Representative Jared Huffman (CA-02) announced that he secured $1,418,896.84 in federal funding for Ukiah Adventist Hospital (Adventist Health System) for emergency protective measures as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Funds for this grant were awarded through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) under authority of Section 403 of the Robert T. Stafford Act.
About the Funding
During the incident period, the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic created an immediate threat to the health and safety of the general public requiring emergency protective measures.
