Rep. Huffman Leads First Virtual Small Businesses Roundtable

San Rafael, CA – Today, Representative Jared Huffman (D-San Rafael) and special guest Assemblymember Jim Wood (D-Santa Rosa) held an online small business roundtable to answer questions from the Mendocino business community. They were joined by local business experts to discuss federal, state, and local resources related to the coronavirus (COVID-19) impacts on our business community.

The panel of experts included: Mary Anne Petrillo, CEO, West Business Development Center; William (Bill) Koontz, Public Information Officer, Small Business Administration; and Bianca Blomquist, CA Policy and Engagement, Small Business Majority. 

During the event, Rep. Huffman, Assemblymember Wood, and the small business experts fielded a series of questions from local small business owners on topics including Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL), the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), unemployment benefits, relief timelines, and more.
