Rep. Huffman to Host Virtual Town Hall on Capitol Riots
Washington, D.C. – On Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. PST, Congressman Jared Huffman will hold a virtual town hall to respond to questions and provide a report on the Wednesday, January 6 assault on the Capitol and Congress during the certification of the electoral college results. Topics will include the 25th Amendment, articles of impeachment, Capitol Police readiness, holding rioters and those who incited violence accountable, as well as ways to ensure a peaceful transfer of power.
Participants are encouraged to ask questions in the Facebook video comments section during the events for a chance to have their question read aloud and answered live. They can also submit their questions in advance to huffmanQandA@mail.house.gov.
