Huffman to Host Town Halls on Social Security and Medicare

Washington—Congressman Jared Huffman (D-San Rafael) will host three town halls on Social Security and Medicare in California’s Second Congressional District during the upcoming district work period. Huffman will hold a town hall in Ukiah on May 30, and town halls in Mill Valley and Petaluma on May 31. He will discuss his efforts in Congress to preserve and protect America’s social safety net and take questions from constituents.

He will be joined by Max Richtman, J.D., President/CEO, and Carroll L. Estes, Ph.D., Board of Directors, from the National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare as well as Al Piombo of the Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program (HICAP).
