Huffman Statement on Fatal Shooting of Mendocino County Sheriff’s Deputy

WASHINGTON­—Congressman Jared Huffman (D-San Rafael) issued the following statement after hearing of the death of Mendocino County Sheriff’s Deputy Ricky Del Fiorentino:

“Today is a tragic day for Mendocino County. I extend prayers, condolences, and the full support of my office to the family of officer Ricky Del Fiorentino, who died in the line of duty for the safety of our community. The loss of an officer is never easy, and I hope that the community will heal together and help Officer Del Fiorentino’s family through this tragic time.”
