Huffman: Obama Administration Rule on Power Plant Emissions a Strong Step Against Climate Change

WASHINGTON­—Congressman Jared Huffman released the following statement supporting the Obama Administration’s announcement proposing carbon pollution standards for power plants as part of President Obama’s Climate Action Plan. 

“Today’s proposal of strong standards to combat carbon pollution is a vital step in the fight against climate change,” Congressman Huffman said. “I applaud President Obama for his leadership on what I believe is the most critical issue of our time. If we’re going to avert the worst impacts of climate change, we must continue to act in ways that will produce real and measurable results.”
