Leggett Valley Fire Protection District Fire Station Modernization
The Leggett Valley Fire Protection District is vital to community safety and protection efforts in Mendocino County as local wildfire seasons worsen. The organization’s fire station, however, is significantly outdated and limited. This funding will be used to support the modernization and expansion of the fire station, specifically by tearing down the blighted community center and upgrading the current station with new barracks, kitchen space, and training rooms.
