City of Santa Rosa Environmental Infrastructure
The City of Santa Rosa’s Water Department (Santa Rosa Water) delivers approximately six billion gallons of drinking water and includes roughly 1,200 miles of water and sewer pipelines. Rehabilitating local sewer lines is critical to strengthening the City’s water resiliency by preserving the region’s recycled water supply. This funding will help replace deficient wastewater conveyance facilities to avoid catastrophic failure, which would result in the interruption of the City of Santa Rosa’s Regional Water Reuse System that serves approximately 230,000 residents in the region.
“We are incredibly grateful to Congressman Huffman for securing funding to advance the Llano Trunk Sewer Line Rehabilitation project. This funding supports essential engineering work on a regional water reuse system that serves more than 230,000 residents in Santa Rosa and surrounding areas. His leadership strengthens Santa Rosa’s infrastructure and the resilience of our region,” said Santa Rosa Mayor Mark Stapp.
