Huffman Announces Federal Grants for Mendocino, Humboldt Health Organizations

WASHINGTON­—Congressman Jared Huffman (D-San Rafael) today announced that more than 1.8 million dollars in federal grants have been delivered this month to community health centers, tribal organizations, county administrations, and other health care providers throughout Mendocino and Humboldt Counties.

“I’m very glad that these crucial local organizations are getting much-needed federal funding to support their missions,” Huffman said. “These valued organizations keep my constituents healthy in both mind and body, and demonstrate the importance of ensuring our federal agencies are fully funded.”

Over the past two weeks, the Center for Disease Control (CDC), Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), and Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS) have awarded the following:
