Fighting Climate-Driven Collapse in Coastal Habitats
The funding will be used to expand and advance programs focused on research and education addressing a series of interrelated ecological crises stemming from the collapse of the kelp forests in Mendocino County's nearshore habitats. This project will allow the Noyo Center to significantly expand on efforts through handson public education and by conducting vital scientific research that will drive efforts to restore our kelp forests and protect near-shore habitats for future generations.
