Equitable Energy Resilience and EV Infrastructure
The funding will be used to provide clean, emergency back-up power that can be easily transported and rapidly deployed to areas without electricity to support 3 critical operations and first responders. When the chargers are not providing emergency back-up power, they will be made available to the public for subsidized electric vehicle charging in South Santa Rosa, a disadvantaged census tract based on data from CalEnviroScreen.
